Information on Battery Disposal

In connection with the sale of batteries or the delivery of devices containing batteries or rechargeable batteries, we are legally required to inform you of the following:

Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. Consumers are legally required to dispose of used batteries and rechargeable batteries separately.

After use, you can return used batteries free of charge to a municipal collection point or to local retailers. If we carry batteries or rechargeable batteries in our product range, you may also return used batteries of the same type that we currently carry or have previously carried.

The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown on batteries indicates that batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be disposed of with household waste.

The following chemical symbols may also appear below this symbol:

• Pb = Battery contains more than 0.004% lead by weight
• Cd = Battery contains more than 0.002% cadmium by weight
• Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005% mercury by weight
