Description

At the heart of the set is the 18650 Li-Ion cell with a capacity of up to 3500 mAh and a stable nominal voltage of 3.7V. Thanks to its low internal resistance, the cell is also suitable for demanding applications with a maximum discharge current of up to 10A. With up to 500 charge cycles, the battery offers a long service life in continuous use.

The included battery holder is made of durable PP plastic and securely holds the 18650 cell (flat-top, max. 67mm). A nickel-plated steel spring contact ensures a lasting hold and compensates for minor length tolerances between different cells, while the copper positive contact ensures low contact resistance.

For electrical connection, the holder comes with two 150mm long, factory pre-tinned wires (red = positive, black = negative), made from 1007# 24AWG stranded wire. Since the wire ends are already tinned, the set can be soldered or crimped into connectors directly without further preparation.

The bottom of the holder’s housing also has a mounting hole, allowing the component to be securely screwed down if needed – handy for installation in enclosures or on PCBs. The compact dimensions of 75mm x 21mm x 18mm ensure the holder also fits in tight enclosures.
